Girl Scout Cookies, often shortened to GSC, is an Indica-dominant strain (variety) of cannabis and is a cross between OG Kush and Durban Poison.
Girl Scout Cookies were bred and developed by the Cookie Fam collective in San Francisco and released around 2009.
The exact lineage of the strain is also unknown and is kept secret among members of the collective, who have also bred cultivars like Gelato, Cherry Pie, and Sunset Sherbet.
The GSC strain is noted for its sweet, mint, vanilla, biscuit, chocolate, and pastry-like flavors and appetite-inducing, uplifting effects. Patients have used GSC for chronic pain, nausea, appetite loss, anxiety, and depression.
There are not many test results for flavonoids in specific varietals of cannabis. Due to its flavor profile, GSC may contain flavonoids like
